We are delighted to invite you to the opening of the solo exhibition, “Lilian Bourgeat”, in our Geneva space. Join us for the opening on Thursday, September 17, from 6 pm during Geneva Art Week.

Lilian Bourgeat’s work explores the relationship between everyday objects, scale and perception. By enlarging familiar objects to an unexpected scale, he transforms ordinary things into playful and sometimes disorienting sculptures. Chairs, shoes, tools or other elements of daily life become oversized forms that invite us to reconsider our relationship to the objects and spaces that surround us. Humour and physical experience are central to his practice, creating situations that are both immediately accessible and subtly unsettling.

Lilian Bourgeat (*1970 in Dijon, France) lives and works in Brignogan. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions and institutions
